During his term as SCAI president, Dr. Marshall will focus on a number of efforts to improve the care and quality of life of patients with cardiovascular disease. In addition to continuing SCAI's programs that provide quality improvement tools for interventional cardiologists and cath lab teams, he will spearhead the development of new tools for use by patients and their family members. He also will increase efforts to educate policymakers about patients' needs and expectations.
