Gainesville doctor provides options to heart patients
When it comes to treating and diagnosing certain heart conditions,
most physicians in the United States tend to go straight for the
groin area - seeking out the femoral artery.
While that procedure has been highly effective, some physicians say
there may be a better way.

Georgia Heart Center is excited to announce their association with
Drs. Heather B. Westmoreland and Allison G. Dupont.
Dr.
Westmoreland will be seeing patients predominantly at our Cumming Office located at 900 Sanders Road and the Heart Center’s main
office in Gainesville at the Wisteria Building (formerly the Medical
Office Building) next to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She
will be admitting patients to Northside Hospital-Forsyth and
Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Dr.
Dupont will be seeing patients at the Heart Center’s main office in
the Wisteria Building (formerly the Medical Office Building) next to
the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. As an Interventional
Cardiologist, she will be performing heart catheterizations,
angioplasties and cardiac stenting at both Northeast Georgia Medical
Center and Northside Hospital – Forsyth.
