Dr. Hott is a graduate with high honors from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued her training with Emory where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in cardiology. After serving as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University in the heart failure and transplant program, Dr. Hott joined Northeast Georgia Heart Center and established the first heart failure program at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC). Through her leadership the heart failure program at NGMC is now one of three heart failure programs in the state certified by The Joint Commission, which recognizes the exceptional quality of care and better outcomes for heart failure patients. Dr. Hott continues her interests in heart transplant and left ventricular assist device (LVAD), as well as participates in the transplant program at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. She currently serves as medical director of Northeast Georgia Medical Center's heart failure program. Dr. Hott is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
